Why Do Computer Become Slow?

Have you ever experience that your computer become slower and slower with time?
It gets longer to boot-up, applications become sluggish and file transfer take ages.

One possible reason is that the hard-disk has been filled with fragmented files, caused by writing and deleting. Try defragmenting the hard-disk to move the files nearer to one another and also away from the edge of the hard-disk.
Just follow the screen:

Run defragment for c and then d:

Fastest Gold Bumper In The World

The equipment is able to bump 30 gold bumps per sec. onto silicon wafers.

The wafers are then sawn into individual die and then flip-chip attached to a substrate.

Suitable for applications where the upper side of the die are not to be covered like LED, Laser head, etc.

Memory Card Handling

It is always a good habit to conserve the resources and reused when possible. One of the items that was always discarded is the memory cards. Although the price of the memory cards had declined recently, it is a waste to throw them aside, looking for the latest capacity for your new gadgets.

For those who wants to reused...........Read on....
Sometimes we are puzzled with the many types of memory cards in the market and have them mixed up between one another.

Have you ever wonder if the memory cards from our old Digital camera, handphones or MP4 player can be used with your new gadgets?
The answer is yes, just make sure that you are selecting your next new gadget with the same memory card type. The capacity isn't that imporatant if you are not a heavy user. A standard 1GB memory should suffice if you are not loading ton of movies onto your gadgets.
And periodically, move the memory card content to your hard-disk or burn them into CD rom to avoid running out of memory.

Fact About China Flag

Alumni are welcome to share papers, articles and experiences that would enrich EDSC body of knowledge. I have come across an interesting article on China to share with the Circle.

Interesting Facts About China

China, the new emerging power has been the oldest continuous civilization on Earth, for the last 4000 years.
Chinese flag is red which represents the blood spilled during the communist revolution. On the flag there is one large star, representing leadership, and four small stars which represent four social classes: capitalists, bourgeoisie, workers and peasants all united under one Communist Party.

Some of the China's inventions: gunpowder, paper, printing, compass, porcelain, first paper currency, animal zodiac, cast iron, chopsticks, crossbow, toilet paper, collapsible umbrella, fork and many other cool inventions. Interesting fact about China is that in last three years growth of China's economy was around 10% per year making China the country with largest world economy. The funny fact is that China was in dispute with WTO (World Trade Organization) because of the extremely low taxes on their exports.

However, United States was in the dispute with WTO because of the high taxes on U.S. imports. "We are committed to challenging China's WTO-inconsistent practices that harm American workers and businesses," said U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab.
